AT&T Audience Network had earlier announced the plans to launch a new original series “ICE”. This new series will feature 10, one-hour episodes, and the shooting for this crime drama has already begun in Vancouver. This series will be available to both DirecTV and AT&T subscribers by the end of this year.
Global independent studio, Entertainment One, and Fuqua Films, will bring this series to the television. The first episode of this crime drama will be directed by Antoine Fuqua, and he will also serve as the executive producer of this show. Fuqua has previously directed some of the best action thriller movies like “Training Day” and “The Equalizer”.
“I’ve been interested in this idea for several years and am thrilled to have found such great partners to bring this project to fruition. I’m always looking for projects that explore worlds that audiences think they know, and then shining an authentic light on them, and with ‘ICE’ we’re going to do both,” Fuqua said.
Furthermore, Fuqua Films, Entertainment One, and AT&T Audience Network, collectively announced the cast members of ICE earlier this week. The series will feature actors from television and movies, including Cam Gigandet, Donald Sutherland, Raymond Barry, Judith Shekoni, Ray Winstone, and Jeremy Sisto, which are officially confirmed as the main cast members of this show.
This crime drama series will focus on the lives of the members of the Green family and their journey into the dangerous world of diamond trading in Los Angeles. The story revolves around Jake, a member of the Green family, who is forced to bail his brother Freddy, who was imprisoned after murdering a Los Angeles diamond owner.
ICE is originally written by Robert Munic, who earlier worked in “Fighting” and “The Cleaner”. Robert will also serve as the executive producer of ICE. This TV show is produced by eOne in association with the AT&T network. The international rights for this show are also owned by eOne.
Audience Network offers some of the best and most popular original series such as “Kingdom”, “You Me Her”, and “Rogue”. The Audience Network is available on channel 1114 for the U-Verse customers and on channel 239 for DirecTV packages subscribers.
