Scripps Networks Interactive and AT&T have recently signed a multi-platform multi-year agreement. This means that AT&T and DirecTV subscribers can continue to access the best and popular contents offered by the Scripps Network channels either through On Demand or through live streaming.
AT&T has secured the rights to cover the programming of Food Network, HGTV, DIY Network, Great American Country, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel through this deal. This deal will also allow AT&T to include these networks on their online streaming services, DirecTV Freeview and DirecTV Now.
Henry Ahn, President for content distribution and marketing, Scripps Networks Interactive said, “This agreement forwards the goal of Scripps Networks Interactive to make our valued content available to consumers at the time and on the device of their choosing. We value our ongoing and expanding relationship with AT&T and DIRECTV, and look forward to working together to expand consumer choice and convenience.”
