AT&T Signs A Deal With Taylor Swift

AT&T, one of the largest telecommunications brands in the country, has successfully signed an agreement with one of the most famous names in music industry, Taylor Swift. This recent deal will allow both AT&T and Taylor Swift to appear in numerous events together. This also includes the AT&T DirecTV Super Saturday Night, which will be held in Houston, Texas on February 4, 2017.

In the event, Taylor swift will be performing in a venue exclusively designed for her. The event will be conducted just a day before the Super Bowl LI kick off, which will be held at LA’s NRG Stadium. Tickets for this music concert will be available through AT&T contests and promotions.

However, reports indicate that Taylor Swift will only be performing at the concert, which is scheduled for the day before the Super Bowl. Lady Gaga will be the one to perform the featured halftime act. In addition to that, AT&T has also promised that the video clips and contents from the concert will be made available to their DirecTV and U-Verse customers on a later date.

And we’ve thrilled attendees during the Big Game weekend for the last 11 years with A-list parties and the hottest performing music artists around, so 2017 will be our very best. We’re excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor’s fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world’s biggest artists with one of the world’s biggest sporting events.”

Reports suggest that Taylor Swift’s concert would put AT&T into spotlight during one of the biggest advertising events of the year. Many brands including Visa have been attempting to create experiences in cities, which host Super Bowl in order to get a buzz from the game without buying a traditional Super Bowl ad. Many Hollywood movies also plan special TV spots and teasers for Super Bowl. Reports say that one of the Super Bowl 30-second spot went up for a $5 million during last year.

AT&T has been trying to boost their original video offerings by entering into partnership small companies such as entertainment company Fullscreen. Many original TV shows such as Kingdom and the Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen shows are also available on DirecTV owing to their joint venture will small entertainment companies.
